Liturgical & Community

Bringing People Together

Liturgical and community spaces offer a unique design challenge. They require the architect to understand the congregation or community, its members and its architectural history.

Liturgical and community spaces interact with many different types of people and have a variety of uses. We believe the architect must understand all of the ways the building will be used to create a successful design. We also feel the architect must pay careful attention to the historical context of the building. When we design an update for an existing church, we know it already has an identity that must be preserved. Similarly, we understand that community spaces need to blend with the buildings and outdoor spaces around them.

Our careful attention to detail and genuine desire to understand our clients has resulted in success on these projects. We design each of our churches and community spaces to bring people together while respecting their heritage and the history of the building’s surroundings.
